“We are thrilled to announce that the IXS-PAL® corrugated pallet has successfully passed the final round of rigorous testing under high humidity conditions. This third and conclusive test has once again demonstrated the pallet’s robustness and reliability. Our evaluation focused on maintaining load-bearing capacity, avoiding jams, and preventing rips, creases, or cracks,“ says Rustem Karimov, head of Karimov GmbH.

Evaluation Criteria:
• Maintaining the load-bearing capacity of the pallet
• No jamming of the pallet
• No rips, creases, or cracks on the pallet
Test Procedure:
An 850 kg load was placed on the corrugated pallet, which was then subjected to a climate chamber with conditions set at 0-2°C and 90-95% humidity for five days. Following this, the pallet underwent transport testing on a vibration stand.
Test Results:
Climate Chamber: During the simulation test under the specified climatic conditions, the pallet maintained its load-bearing capacity, with the stack of simulation loads remaining intact. However, jams and sagging were observed, which interfered with normal operation, preventing the use of a hand pallet truck on the 1200 mm side.
Vibration Stand: During transport testing, the stack remained undamaged. However, the jams and sagging on the pallet increased.
Conclusion: Despite the observed issues, the tests were deemed positive, confirming the pallet’s ability to withstand high humidity conditions while maintaining its structural integrity.
